This is the most faithful map of GTA VI to date, based on data taken directly from the trailer
A fan has created a map of GTA VI using only verified information from the trailer and real locations in Miami, the city on which Vice City is based.

The Grand Theft Auto map has always been an essential part of the experience. The recreation of fictional cities—inspired by real locations—becomes the ideal playground for millions of players. And with the long wait for GTA VI, the trailer has served as a source of clues for dedicated fans. It’s no surprise that some are already working on versions of the map based on leaks and analysis of the official trailer. This week, a new fan-made map of Vice City has begun to gain notoriety.
A new map of what could be GTA VI
Posted on Reddit by user gtavi_pixelblower, this new map aims to stand out for its rigorous approach. Unlike previous speculative versions, it claims to have been created “using only tangible information.” Although the map looks rather empty, it takes direct reference points from the trailer and compares them to real locations in Miami, the city that inspired Vice City.
The map, though incomplete, is meant to show the “massive difference between the speculative map and the ‘known, verifiable’ map.” After all, it is a “geographical puzzle” that tries to show something that could appear in GTA VI with the little official information that is now available.
GTA VI is still planned to arrive this year
Although there has been an impressive silence, in early 2025, Take-Two confirmed that their actual plans to publish the next installment of Rockstar Games continue. Grand Theft Auto VI will arrive on the Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5 in the fall of 2025. Although the lack of information has led some users to believe that GTA VI may not arrive this year, Strauss Zelnick, CEO of Take-Two, mentioned in a recent interview that “the anticipation for this title may be the greatest anticipation I’ve ever seen for any entertainment property” and that part of the strategy is that “we’ve found that the best thing to do is to provide marketing materials relatively close to the release window in order to create that excitement on the one hand.”
