When will Napoleon be released?: Trailer, synopsis and cast of Joaquin Phoenix’s latest movie

Ridley Scott and a movie about to make history.

Update:
Napoleon

Napoleon is Ridley Scott’s new film and one of the most anticipated in the British director’s distinguished career. The biopic about one of the most important figures in human history will star Joaquin Phoenix, in a reunion with Scott more than two decades after Gladiator. On this occasion, the American actor returns to play the role of an emperor, in this case a French one.

Ridley Scott did not have many doubts about the choice of Phoenix as Napoleon Bonaparte, as well as his decision to direct a movie about this historical figure. The Briton has declared his love for France to Deadline, pointing out that “I’ve always enjoyed the French way of life. I’ve never forgotten the French summers. I loved Paris so much that I have an office there. My first film The Duellists was about Napoleon, though he wasn’t in it.”

When is the release date of Napoleon?

Napoleon will be released on November 24, 2023, making it not only one of the most anticipated releases of the final stretch of the year, but also one of the big favorites for the next edition of the Oscars.
