Will Assassin’s Creed Mirage get DLC or expansions?

Ubisoft’s newest entry to the Assassin’s Creed Series is now available on consoles and PCs, but it’s committed to the classic formula.

Assassin’s Creed Mirage is not like Origins, Odyssey, or Valhalla. Without the RPG element, this installment returns to its roots and returns to the classic formula, being much more contained. The most recent games had an ambitious post-launch plan, but the old ones also received downloadable content and independent experiences. What will happen to Basim’s adventure?

Unlike the previous trilogy, this new game does not have a season pass, which in a way previews Ubisoft’s approach to this game. Regarding whether or not there will be DLC, we refer to the statements of Stephane Boudon, creative director of Mirage: “For now, Mirage has no plan for DLC or extensive post-launch.”

Assassin’s Creed Mirage expansions and DLC and the nuance to take into account

One can grasp at the straws of “for the moment”, which does not completely close the door to this type of addition. However, it does not seem that the studio has any intention of expanding the story, waiting for the next big installment, which will be Assassin’s Creed Codename RED. Still, you should never take anything for granted in this industry.

In this adventure we play Basim, a character we met in Valhalla, only a few years before his meeting with Eivor. We are in the 9th century AD, in a resplendent Baghdad, full of culture and wealth. But as usual, The elites live oblivious to the poverty of the most disadvantaged. Basim is a thief, but a thief with a certain conscience, who soon draws the attention of the Hidden Ones. He will join the Order and undertake a journey through the city, which will lead him to face the Ancients and his own destiny.

Assassin’s Creed Mirage It is available on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S and PC.
