Will Final Fantasy VII Rebirth be released on PC? Everything we know about it
Final Fantasy VII Rebirth arrives on PlayStation 5 today to great acclaim, but PC Master Race users are wondering if they will be able to play it.
Final Fantasy VII Rebirth is already upon us, and with excellent reviews from us and the rest of the press, we already have one of the first great titles of 2024. But now that it has been released for PlayStation 5, will the game only stay on this platform? Here we tell you.
Will Final Fantasy VII Rebirth be coming to PC?
So far, Square Enix has not officially announced whether Final Fantasy VII Rebirth will be released on PC or not. However, that doesn’t mean that it won’t, or at least the company’s history suggests that it will.
Although there is no announcement as such, trailers for Final Fantasy VII Rebirth have indicated that “Not available on other platforms until at least 05/29/2024″, indicating the time of exclusivity that this edition will have on PlayStation 5. However, this does not mean that it will already be available on PC in 3 months.
Another factor to consider is its predecessor. Final Fantasy VII Remake arrived on PlayStation 4 on April 10, 2020, only to be followed by an improved version a little more than a year later, on June 10, 2021. The latter version was the one that eventually came to PC, but not until December 18, 2021, about 20 months after its release on PlayStation 4.
For now, it remains to wait for official information from Square Enix to know if this title will also come to PC.
