What games are leaving PS Plus Extra and Premium in February 2024?

Resident Evil VII and Tekken 7 are leaving the PlayStation Plus subscription service for both PS4 and PS5.

PlayStation Plus (PS Plus) has announced the list of games that will be removed from the catalog of the Extra and Premium subscriptions in February 2024. The list includes ten games from different genres, with a noticeable presence of Japanese titles. Resident Evil VII, the predecessor of Village, is one of the games on the list and will be removed on February 20. Below is the complete list of games that will be removed.

  • Tekken 7
  • Resident Evil VII
  • Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown
  • Tacoma
  • Lost Sphear
  • I am Setsuna
  • Oninaki
  • Thomas Was Alone
  • Hue
  • Lost Words: Beyond the Page

Please note that you have until 20 February to play and complete the games that are part of your subscription to PS Plus Extra or Premium. These games will run parallel to the monthly Essential mode games, which will remain linked to your account as long as you redeem them.

Also, don’t miss out on some great games released in January, such as Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands Next-Level Edition and Resident Evil 2. You can find more information about these games below this paragraph.

Extra

  • Tiny Tina's Wonderlands – Next Level Edition (PS5, PS4)
  • Resident Evil 2 (PS5, PS4)
  • Hardspace: Shipbreaker (PS5)
  • LEGO City Undercover (PS4)
  • Just Cause 3 (PS4)
  • Session: Skate Sim (PS5, PS4)

If a game is only available on PS4, it can still be played on PS5 because of its backward compatibility. Enjoy the games while you still can!

How much do these subscriptions cost?

PlayStation Plus offers three subscription levels, which can all be purchased on a monthly, quarterly, or annual basis. The lowest tier is the ‘Essential,’ which costs $10 per month, $25 per quarter, or $80 a year. The next level is ‘Extra,’ which unlocks a catalog of games and allows members to play Ubisoft+ Classics.

The Extra membership costs $15 per month, $40 per quarter, or $135 per year.

The top tier, ‘Premium,’ allows members to test out new games, in addition to a slew of other perks (as well as all those included in the lower tiers). This membership costs $18 per month, $50 per quarter, or $160 per year.
