Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is once again the big star of the Nintendo universe starting this Friday, March 18. The Booster Course Pass is now available to all players of the Nintendo Switch title; either by purchasing it in the eShop or as part of Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack. Regardless of the method chosen to access its content, the first 8 tracks of the 48 tracks that make up this massive DLC can now be enjoyed in single or multiplayer mode. The Coconut Mall is back! Let's take a look at how they look live.

How to set up the Booster Course Pass in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe?

For the sake of clarity, let's quickly explain how the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Booster Course Pass is set up. In total there will be 48 remastered tracks from the previous eight installments (the seven console originals and Mario Kart Tour), but they won't be released all at once; they'll be released in a staggered fashion in a total of six waves, from March 2022 to the end of 2023. In the following Nintendo Life video you can see a gameplay of those released today.

  • A total of 48 remastered tracks from previous Mario Kart games.
  • They will be released in six waves, each with eight tracks divided into two cups (each cup with four tracks, as usual).
  • The first installment is already available (consisting of eight tracks divided into two cups).
  • The remaining 40 tracks will arrive in five installments (each installment with eight tracks) between April 2022 and December 2023. Dates to be determined.

These are the tracks included in the first installment of the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Booster Course Pass.
