These are all the winners of the game of the year at The Game Awards throughout its history

The Game Awards adopted its current name in 2014, as before that date they were known as the VGA Spike or the VGX Spike. Geoff Keighley, organizer of the awards, returns with a new edition full of announcements, news, and awards, lots of awards. Titles like Elden Ring, God of War Ragnarök, A Plague Tale: Requiem or Stray compete for the GOTY, who will win it? We do not know for sure, but we do know the titles that won the statuette previously.

It is difficult to find unanimity in voting, so throughout the history of The Game Awards, there have always been controversial winners. Among them are such laureate productions as Bioshock, Uncharted 2: Among Thieves, Dragon Age Inquisition, and GTA V. More recently triumphed Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, The Last of Us Part 2, and It Takes Two. Below we take a look at them all.
