2022 Little League World Series: What teams are left and who’s playing on Thursday?
The 2022 Little League Baseball World Series will wrap up this weekend, and only a few teams are left standing in the final stages of the competition.
It’s the 75th anniversary of the Little League World Series, and its expanded field of 20 teams is narrowing down quickly as the tournament enters its last few days of baseball action in Williamsport, Pennsylvania. The champion will be determined on Sunday, Aug.28.
The Series held four games on Wednesday, from which two teams won a seat in their respective bracket championships.

Team Asia-Pacific (Taipei, Taiwan) will move on to the International bracket championship game after trouncing Mexico (Matamoros, Tamaulipas) 5-1, while Team West (Honolulu, Hawaii) demolished Team Southeast (Nolensville, Tennessee) 13-0 to advance to the United States bracket championship.
Two games also took place in the elimination bracket, where the Caribbean team (Willemstad, Curacao) defeated Latin America (Managua, Nicaragua) 7-2, and Southwest (Pearland, Texas) eliminated Mid-Atlantic with an 8-4 victory.

2022 Little League World Series games today
There are only two games scheduled for today- two teams will be fighting it out for the other berth at the International bracket championship, while the other game’s winner will move on to compete in the United States bracket finals.
