2022 MLB All-Star Game: Who is playing in the All-Star Celebrity Softball game?
The MLB All-Star Celebrity Softball Game this year will feature big names in music, Hollywood celebrities, and outstanding athletes of various sports.
The Los Angeles Dodgers will be hosting this year’s MLB All-Star Game after 42 years, and when in La-La Land, the appearance of stars is inevitable. They will be out in full force at the All-Star Celebrity Softball game, which is one of the events that lead up to the MLB All-Star Game.
The Celebrity Softball Game brings together MLB legends and other famous faces for a friendly exhibition match, and it has gained popularity among baseball fans since it was introduced in 2001.
Headlining the event are Puerto Rican pop star Bad Bunny, rapper and actor Quavo, and Hollywood superstars Row Lowe and Breaking Bad’s Bryan Cranston.
Unlike regular softball games which have seven innings, the Celebrity Game will have only six. Another distinction is that there is a provision for a swing-off in the place of extra innings. If the teams are tied after six innings, the team managers would select five batters, who will each get one swing. The team with the most home runs in those five rounds will win. If the tie is still not broken after this, the teams will play sudden-death rounds until one of them hits a home run.
