Here’s how Team USA’s roster will look for the 2023 World Baseball Classic final matchup against Japan
Sam NavarroUSA TODAY Sports

Team USA will face Japan Tuesday night in the WBC final after a very impressive run in the group stage in which they beat Canada, Great Britain, Colombia and their only loss came to Mexico. They beat Venezuela in quarterfinals and Cuba in semis to reach the final game against Team Samurai.

Their strong pitching, excellent hitting and tough defense has taken the USA this far. They’ll be facing a tough rival in Japan, who survived their first scare yesterday against Mexico in semifinals after being down 3-0 after five innings. Their bats finally heated up and gave them the walk-off win 5-6.

It’s just incredible how much talent is on this field.
