Angels fan makes unique request after catching Mike Trout’s 400th home run
The Los Angeles star joined the exclusive list with a 485-foot blast at Coors Field, sharing a special moment with a fan after the game.

Mike Trout hit his 400th career home run in Major League Baseball during the Los Angeles Angels’ win over the Colorado Rockies. The slugger launched a 485-foot shot at Coors Field, becoming the 59th player in MLB history to reach the milestone.
What did the fan want to do with Trout?
The Angels’ star connected on a Jaden Hill sinker, sending it deep to center field in Denver’s iconic ballpark. It was Trout’s 22nd homer of the season and another marker in his growing legacy.
One fan, Alberto, had the night of his life. He caught Trout’s historic ball and was offered memorabilia in exchange. But his request was unusual – he simply wanted to play catch with Trout. The three-time MVP couldn’t say no. After the game, Trout spent a few minutes tossing the ball with him in the foul territory between third base and home.
The fan who caught and returned Mike Trout's 400th home run ball had one small request from the 3-time MVP.

Trout chasing the all-time home run list
Among active players, only Giancarlo Stanton has more home runs than Trout. The New York Yankees slugger hit his 450th the same night in a win over the Baltimore Orioles at Camden Yards.
With just seven regular season games remaining, Trout has a chance to climb the all-time rankings. Next up is Hall of Famer Duke Snider with 407, followed closely by Mark Teixeira, who finished his career with 409.
