Mexico pummels Canada
So it was not a fluke. Mexico beating Team USA was not a once-a-day thing. They are a serious team and maybe the best team in this pool. They give Team Canada a beating, and they win their trip to Miami.
Team USA needs to win against Colombia if Canada wants any
opportunity of making to the next round. They can get via invitation and the tie break. But what we do know is that Mexico is too much Mexico. Arozarena has been fantastic, with 5 RBIs so far. Highest in tournament history.
Let’s see if Mexico can keep this form. And Canada will need to put a candle on tonight and hope Team USA can make something happen here.

Mexico beat Great Britain last night by 2-1. It got a lifeline to continue its run into the next stage after losing its first game to Colombia and winning its second game to tournament favorite team USA. Mexico has the biggest opportunity to shut this down and seal their fate to keep playing.
Canada won one, lost, and won again. This also puts them in a great spot to move on. If they beat Mexico today, they will be on their way to the next stage. The Canadians looked good yesterday against Colombia. They beat the South Americans by five runs and letting few hits. So this will be a great game for sure.
