After being swept by the Houston Astros in the American League Championship Series, the New York Yankees said goodbye to the 2022 Major League Baseball season and to their dream of winning the World Series.

They immediately began to talk about the future of Aaron Judge, a key player in the Bronx franchise who made history this season by becoming the home run leader in the American League in a single season. Judge has not decided whether to renew his contract with the Yankees, which has opened a door of hope for some teams that want to acquire his services.

Los Angeles Dodgers want to bid for Judge

According to information from Mark Feinsand of MLB.com, sources confirmed that the Los Angeles Dodgers are “serious candidates” to enter the bid for Judge.

The team led by Dave Roberts would add another star to the roster and it has even been said that Mookie Betts would have no problem moving from his position in the outfield so Judge can play first base.

SF Giants would also enter the dispute for Judge

Today, Judge is highly desirable and will undoubtedly be one of the most sought-after free agents on the market. For this reason, information has also emerged that points to the interest of the San Francisco Giants in the 30-year-old.

According to Randy Miller of NJ Advance Media, Judge is the Giants’ main target for next season and they would be willing to offer whatever is necessary to convince him to move to their ranks. They would also add high-caliber signings to give the franchise greater competitiveness and thus convince Judge to consider them.
