The 2024 WBSC Premier12 is a major global baseball tournament featuring 12 of the world’s top national teams. In Group A, Team USA kicks off its campaign against Puerto Rico on Saturday, November 9. The game will be played at Estadio Santa Teresita in Tepic, Mexico, and starts at 6:00 p.m. Eastern Time. The stadium recently opened and has a seating capacity of 9,480.

Team USA, managed by Mike Scioscia, is eyeing its first Premier12 gold medal, with its best finish being a silver in 2015. This year’s roster boasts a mix of young talent and seasoned veterans. Notable players include MLB Pipeline’s No. 4 prospect Carson Williams, Termarr Johnson, and Tokyo 2020 silver medalist Anthony Gose. Here is the Team USA roster breakdown:

Puerto Rico’s squad brings its own depth and experience, featuring former MLB players like Dereck Rodríguez and Duane Underwood Jr., plus several talents from the 2023 World Baseball Classic roster. The team has made changes due to health concerns, with José Figueroa stepping in for Nicholas Padilla.
