What will the New York Yankees’ new uniform for next season look like?
The New York Nine’s jersey has been a source of inspiration for countless children who play baseball and surely still will be in the future.

Every baseball fan recognizes the New York Yankees striped uniform as one of the most iconic, if not the most, in the industry.
The austere but elegant image of the flannel of the Bronx Bombers (without surnames on the back) has crossed stages through popular culture history. The jersey transcended from an exclusive ballpark garment to a fashion icon.
The jersey the Yankees wear for their home games is living Major League Baseball history and has not been altered for decades (except for the addition of the advertising patch and the Nike Swoosh).

But what about the away jersey?
According to a report from Uni Watch, the Yankees will use a new jersey for their away games next season.
The Big Apple team will abandon the traditional white trim around the word New York and the navy blue numbers, along with the navy and white sleeve trim.

The changes will cause the flannel to look more retro, like the team’s look before 1973 when the white borders were added. The last time the Yankees changed their away uniform was in 2016, when they narrowed the gap between “New” and “York.”
