Yankees’ Bellinger helps decide Subway Series against Mets

The New York Yankees wrapped up the Subway Series with a resounding 8–2 win over the New York Mets at Yankee Stadium, taking two of the three games in the set. The Yankees had opened the series with a 6–2 victory, before the Mets edged the second game 3–2.
Bellinger stands out
Cody Bellinger delivered a standout performance after making some tweaks to his swing over the weekend. He drove in two runs with a double in the first inning and later launched a grand slam in the eighth, capping off a six-run frame for the Yankees. Bellinger finished the night with six RBIs.
Meanwhile, Dominican slugger Juan Soto was booed throughout the weekend and struggled at the plate on Sunday, going 0-for-4 with two strikeouts.
