Bucks bolster roster with former Clipper
Ahead of the upcoming NBA season, the Milwaukee Bucks continue to make adjustments to their roster.
The Milwaukee Bucks continue to fine-tune their roster ahead of the upcoming NBA season, signing free agent Amir Coffey to a one-year deal.
What will Coffey bring to Bucks?
Coffey, who previous played for the Los Angeles Clippers, brings veteran versatility to the Bucks’ rotation.
The 6′7″ forward is expected to provide depth behind Kyle Kuzma and could also slot in as a shooting guard, adding flexibility to the lineup.
Coffey spent the first six seasons of his NBA career with the Clippers, where he carved out a role as a reliable spark off the bench. His best statistical season saw him average 9.7 points per game while shooting an efficient 40.9% from the field.
Bucks gearing up to welcome Wizards
The signing comes during Milwaukee’s training camp as the team gears up for its season opener against the Washington Wizards, on October 22 at Fiserv Forum.
