The 2025 California Classic NBA Summer League tips off Saturday, July 5, at Chase Center in San Francisco.
The Golden State Warriors host the Miami Heat, Los Angeles Lakers, and San Antonio Spurs for this early summer league mini-tournament that gives fans their first look at some highly drafted rookies.
When and where is the California Classic?
The event runs from July 5 through July 8, with two games scheduled each day. All six matchups will be played at Chase Center, home of the Warriors.
The timing overlaps with the Salt Lake City Summer League before the main event – the NBA 2K26 Summer League in Las Vegas – begins on July 10.
How to watch the 2025 California Classic NBA Summer League
All games will air on national television across NBA TV, ESPN2, and ESPN+, with streaming available on ESPN+ and Fubo. For Lakers fans hoping to see more of Bronny James, or Spurs fans awaiting No. 2 overall pick Dylan Harper, this tournament may offer the first glimpse, if team staff gives them the green light.
