Clippers’ powerful roster as Paul leads new-look lineup for 2025-26

Los Angeles Clippers retool their roster with multiple additions, including Bradley Beal, John Collins and Brook Lopez.

Estados Unidos Update:

The Los Angeles Clippers are preparing their roster to make the strongest possible push next season. During the NBA offseason, they were among the teams making the highest number of moves.

The franchise finished last season with a 50-32 record, securing fifth place in the Western Conference. But in the playoffs, they were eliminated in the first round by the Denver Nuggets after pushing the series to a decisive Game 7.

CP3 returns to the Clippers

Chris Paul, who played for the franchise from 2011 to 2017, is back in Los Angeles. The 12-time All-Star has agreed to a one-year deal worth $3.6 million.

Last season with the San Antonio Spurs, Paul averaged 8.8 points, 7.4 assists, 3.6 rebounds and 1.3 steals per game. This is expected to be his final year in the league – the 21st season of his career.

The Clippers also signed shooting guard Bradley Beal, who reached a contract buyout with the Phoenix Suns before agreeing to a two-year, $11 million deal with Los Angeles, which includes a player option.

They added power forward John Collins in a three-team trade involving the Utah Jazz – who received Kevin Love, Kyle Anderson and a 2027 second-round pick from the Clippers – and the Miami Heat, who landed Norman Powell.

Veteran center Brook Lopez also joined on a two-year, $18 million contract after his stint with the Milwaukee Bucks.

This is what the Clippers’ starting five could look like for next season.

With their new additions, the Clippers’ projected depth chart looks like this:

  1. PG: James Harden | Chris Paul | Kris Dunn
  2. SG: Bradley Beal | Bogdan Bogdanovic
  3. SF: Kawhi Leonard | Derrick Jones Jr.
  4. PF: John Collins | Nicolas Batum
  5. C: Ivica Zubac | Brook Lopez
