Will Steph Curry play for the Warriors against the Grizzlies today?
The Warriors legend will not feature in the upcoming game against the Memphis side.
The Golden State Warriors will be without their star man Steph Curry tonight against the Memphis Grizzlies as the player is set to be rested.
Curry was on the injury list ahead of the tie against the Philadelphia 76ers, despite being questionable, he managed to feature. However, that will not be the case this time.
After having one of his best performances in recent times, scoring 30 points in a 139-105 win, the Olympic gold medallist is confirmed as ‘out’ for the upcoming game.
What injury does Steph Curry have?
The official NBA injury list has him down with a ‘bilateral knee management’, not the thumb issue that had fans sweating over his clearly fine shooting ability last time out.
Playing consecutive nights is clearly not an option for the 36-year-old, with his physical issues being seen as too much of a potential risk to force through with crossed fingers.
This season he is averaging 22.3 points, 4.8 rebounds, 6.4 assists, and 1.2 steals per game as well as shooting 44.7% from the field and 40.1% from beyond the arc in 27 games.
As well as Curry, Payton II and Podziemski are out, while Wiggins is probable with hamstring tightness.
