It’s been three years since the last WNBA All-Star weekend, and it will be held the same year as the Paris Olympics.

The last time this happened was before the Tokyo 2021 Olympic Games when Team WNBA faced the Women’s US basketball team. On that occasion, the former emerged victorious with a total score of 93-85.

However, it was not the first time this happened, since in 2004, the Radio Music Hall in New York held an exhibition match between the WNBA All-Star team and the USA’s basketball team (although it is not considered to be a standard All-Star game because only two sets were played in the match).

It is a coincidence, or even a matter of destiny, that this Saturday July 20, will mark the 20th edition of the WNBA All-Star Game. Basketball fans around the world will enjoy what promises to be an entertaining game between the best of the best: Team WNBA will take on Team U.S.A. in Phoenix, Arizona, in the Footprint Center, with the kickoff scheduled for 3:00 p.m. E.T.

The game will feature some of the most recognized players in the WNBA roaster, including 22-year-old rookie Caitlin Clark, who recently broke the record for most assists during a single WNBA game (19).
