Boston Celtics hace swept Indiana aside in the Eastern Conference finals and are just one game away to progressing to their second NBA final in three years with no team ever coming back from 3-0 in NBA history.

The Celtics impressive run has been fuelled in part by the scoring of both Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown with both players wreaking havoc on the Pacers defence and with Brown dropping 40 points in Game 2, the 27-year-old edged momentarily ahead of Tatum in the series MVP betting odds.

Tatum then bounced back in Game 3 dropping 36 points to cement the win at Gainbridge Fieldhouse and inflict a shock home defeat on the Indianapolis team.

The betting odds between both players are neck-and-neck after Game 3 with Jayson Tatum at -195 and Jaylen Brown: +165 according to the latest MVP postseason odds at DraftKings Sportsbook.

Game 4 on Monday

Indiana Pacers coach Rick Carlisle maintains that his team will go for broke on Monday night and try and keep the series alive with a Game 4 win.

“We’re not going to be deterred,” Carlisle said of the major task ahead. “We’re going to be back here Monday night looking to extend the series and we’re going to come at it even harder. We have to. We don’t have a choice. ... Believe me, we are going after them.”

An Indiana win would then see the series head back to Boston for Game 5 (which would be staged next Wednesday).
