From Bill Hader to Jim Ross: These are the celebrities who support the OKC Thunder in the 2025 NBA Finals
Here’s a list of the celebrities who will be cheering on the Thunder in the 2025 NBA Finals.
The Thunder take on the Pacers in the 2025 NBA Finals, and the tickets are like gold dust. What’s certain is that there will be plenty of famous faces in the crowd for the showpiece event, and a lot of them will be supporting the side from Oklahoma.
Here’s a look at the celebrity fans that will be cheering on SGA and co. in the upcoming games.
Leading the charge is perhaps the Thunder’s most well-known fan, Bill Hader, best known for Barry and Saturday Night Live. Hader has long worn his OKC pride on his sleeve, often referencing the Thunder in interviews and late-night appearances.
“When I grew up, professional sports was always in other places; it wasn’t in Oklahoma,” Hader admitted in 2012, “To see how they’ve come and each year they just get better and better and now where they’re at, it’s pretty amazing.”
Another vocal supporter is Jim Ross, the iconic wrestling announcer and Oklahoma native. A self-professed “major Oklahoma City Thunder fan”, the WWE icon has been seen court side over the years.
Cyclops from the X-Men film series, whose real name is James Marsden, is a huge Pacers fan. He was pictured court side with his mother ahead of a game earlier this year. His ties to Oklahoma are strong: the actor graduated from Putnam City North High School in Oklahoma City before attending Oklahoma State University, where he studied journalism.
Actress and singer Kristin Chenoweth is also a Thunder fan. She posted on social media after the series win against the Timberwolves, celebrating the victory that saw them make the finals.
