Update:

You may have noticed that LeBron James hasn’t been playing Summer League basketball, but that doesn’t mean he hasn’t been somewhat active in Vegas.

LeBron James living it up in Vegas

Over the weekend, the 39-year-old Lakers legend sat courtside to watch his son Bronny drop 14 points against the Pelicans in a 94–81 Lakers win. But it wasn’t long before LeBron pivoted from family focus to front-row celebrity, was spotted later dancing with Bad Bunny and then making a noteworthy appearance at Nas’ Vegas concert.

It was that last stop that really stirred things up. In a now-viral video, LeBron is seen leaving the concert mid-show – but not before noising up Nas while the rapper performed ‘If I Ruled the World.” The interaction, caught on camera by hoopr_app for TikTok, and then appearing on other platforms, had social media spinning.

Fans react to LeBron leaving Nas

Some fans saw it as a king saluting a king. Others accused LeBron of hogging the spotlight – again. “Won’t even let Nas perform in peace,” one user griped.

Another was ‘shaking his head’ that he would choose to walk out on such a classic track, but hooper_app clarified the situation:

“Lolol. This was the last song. Rich Paul was hosting a networking event at the same time as the concert. I’m guessing he left early to beat the crowd.”

One other fan interpretation went further, “Yeah he done after this season this a sign.”

Rumors have been swirling of late that LeBron may be on his way out – either from L.A. or the NBA altogether. Multiple teams have reportedly contacted the Lakers about a trade, but with a no-trade clause in his contract, the decision is entirely up to LeBron.
