Lakers vs Grizzlies game 1 injury report: Will LeBron and AD play?

The Lakers have taken the long road to get to the playoffs and will kick it off against the Grizzlies, but a concerning report puts their chances in doubt

The Lakers were completely out of the playoff picture just a few short months ago. Savvy deadlline moves breathed new life into them and after a close-run thing in the Play-In tournament, they come into round one of the playoffs facing the Memphis Grizzlies.

This is not going to be an easy matchup for either team, but a concerning injury report lists LeBron James and Anthony Davis both as probable. While that certainly indicates that they will likely play, that tiny crack left in the door leaves room for doubt.

Dennis Schroder joins them on the injury list as an also probably player, and most fans see the designations as simply precautionary.

Memphis is certainly on the down side of the injury sweepstakes, with three players listed as out. Steven Adams, Brandon Clarke, and Jake LaRavia are all done for the time being, with Clarke out for the season with an Achilles tear.
