LeBron responds to Durant ‘GOAT’ Dream Team claim
When it comes to deciding the best player ever, few sport stars get the nod without some intense debate, but maybe we’ve found one.

Over the years, Olympic basketball has allowed us to take in some of the best of the NBA in a combined, untouchable at times, unit. It often went by the name of Dream Team, and for good reason.
The first came in 1992, when professionals were initially allowed to compete in a previously amateur event. That summer in Barcelona saw a team with the likes of Michael Jordan, Scottie Pippen, John Stockton Karl Malone, Magic Johnson, Larry Bird and Patrick Ewing swat aside other nations en route to a very comfortable gold medal.
The future path was set, and a new reflection on the teams that have come before put another name as the best of all time, Kevin Durant.

LeBron agrees with Durant ‘Facts’
As part of Netflix’s Court of Gold, Steve Kerr – who was the manager of the latest team in Paris 2024 – named Durant as “the greatest men’s olympic player of all time,” which was posted to the Team USA social media sites.
What did he base this claim on? Well, the all-time scorer with 518 points was one factor. Then there were the four gold medals, the most by one man. No doubt, fierce debate would follow.
Well one other legend of the game seems to agree with Kerr, none other than LeBron James. On the Instagram post by the team, the Lakers legend left a simple one word reply: ‘FACTS!!!!!!!!!!!’
That’s enough for me.
