No one is safe
The Luka Doncic trade that sent ripples through the league, and left some of the top stars in the game stunned while proving that no one is safe. In the moments after the window closed, the Pacer’s big man took to X sending his followers a a funny but very real sentiment that he and others around the league are most likely feeling.
The message was simple the logo of the long time reality show “Survivor” with an emoji that has a tear drop coming down his eye with a smile on his face.
Turner survives another trade deadline
Turner was rumored to be on the trade block, which is nothing new for the big man who had produced solid seasons in each of his nine years in the league. The Pacers went to the playoffs last year and made it all the way to the Conference Finals before they were swept by the Boston Celtics.
The Pacers were quiet in the market, making just one trade sending James Wiseman to the Toronto Raptors. Apparently those in the Pacers front offices don’t want to make to many changes on a team that is looking for another repeat run deep in the playoffs.
