Possible LeBron James Lakers departure denied
The player’s agent Rich Paul, assured that the veteran player will not leave the Los Angeles franchise before his contract deadline expires.

Prior to the away game against the Boston Celtics, journalist David Pingalore of KTLA assured that the Lakers were exploring the possibility of trading LeBron James before the NBA transfer deadline (8 February). According to the same report, the Los Angeles franchise want to give the veteran player the opportunity to win his fifth championship ring with the Lakers not looking like a team who will contest the title this season.

Lebron’s last deal with the LA franchise has the option to opt for free agency at the end of this season or stay in Los Angeles for one more year. Given the rumors of a possible departure before the transfer market closes next week, the 39-year-old player’s agent, Rich Paul, denied this news.
