Starters named for Eastern and Western Conference for NBA All-Star game in Indianapolis
NBA All-Star Weekend is right around the corner and tonight the starting five for each conference was named Thursday on TNT.
The starters for the Eastern and Western Conference All-Star teams were announced on Thursday and LeBron James and Giannis Antetokounmpo were, unsurprisingly, the leading vote getters for each team.
The star studded weekend will start on Friday the 14th of February and end with a bang that Sunday when the world’s best players gather from Gainbridge Fieldhouse. The starters were announced by Shaq, Kenny, Ernie and Charles on TNT before the Heat and the Celtics take the court in a rematch of last year’s Eastern Conference Finals.
LeBron lead the Western Conference in votes while Giannis reeled in the most votes of anyone in the Eastern Conference. The starting five’s consist of two back court players and three front court players.
