FIBA 2023 WORLD CUP

Team USA’s schedule in the 2023 FIBA Basketball World Cup: Dates and times of the group stage games

The Americans won’t have a superstar in their roster, but they are still the No. 1 favorites to lift the trophy in the event, which will be held in the Philippines.

Update:
The Americans won’t have a superstar in their roster, but they are still the No. 1 favorites to lift the trophy in the event, which will be held in the Philippines.

Team USA traveled to the Philippines with only one objective, winning the 2023 FIBA World Cup. The Americans are the most successful team in the tournament alongside the former Yugoslavia national team, with five victories.

This time, the Americans won’t have a superstar in their roster, as they used to have with Lebron James or Kobe Bryant in the past, but they are regarded as the main favorites to go all the way.

Although the team’s selection to compete in the World Cup has raised some doubts, Steve Kerr’s men have won all of their exhibition games so far. They have beaten Germany, Greece, Spain, Slovenia, and Puerto Rico in August, so that will probably boost their confidence in the event.

The United States will play in Group C, in Manila, against New Zealand, Greece, and Jordan. They are expected to top the group and easily progress.

If they advance to the next round, they will face Egypt, Mexico, Montenegro, or Lithuania.
