The USMBT beats Spain in Malaga

The United States men’s basketball team was better than the Spanish team during an international friendly in Malaga, with foolproof Jalen Brunson.

Before the World Cup, the United States basketball team engaged in friendly matches. Among these matches was a 98-88 victory over Spain last night, marking their third consecutive triumph following wins against Puerto Rico and Slovenia.

In the thrilling game of basketball between America and Spain, the American team held a slim one-point advantage as they entered the final quarter with a score of 73:72. Despite Spain managing to take the lead at the beginning of the quarter, they were unable to maintain their impressive momentum, ultimately leading to their defeat.

The New York Knicks’ Jalen Brunson had an impressive performance in Malaga, scoring 23 points, making four assists, and grabbing three rebounds.

Jackson managed to score 14 points for Team USA, while Bridges contributed 12 points to the team’s total score. Reaves and Ingram both scored 11 points each, adding to the team’s success.

On the other hand, the Spanish national team, under the coaching of Sergio Scariolo, put up a good fight with Aldama scoring 14 points, Willy Hernangomez scoring 13 points, Abrines securing 12 points, and Juancho Hernangomez adding 11 points to the team’s total score. It was a well-fought game by both teams.

Before the commencement of the World Cup, Spain announced their plan to participate in additional matches against Canada and the Dominican Republic. On the other hand, the USA national team is set to face off against Greece and Germany as their upcoming opponents. Sports enthusiasts and fans anticipate these exciting matchups as the teams gear up for the highly competitive World Cup in Japan, Indonesia, and the Philippines.
