On December 12, Draymond Green had an altercation with Jusuf Nurkic, a player from the Phoenix Suns. As a result, NBA Commissioner Adam Silver suspended Green indefinitely. This season has been a tough one for Green, as he has already been suspended twice and ejected from three games while playing for the Golden State Warriors.

The Bay team has a record of 17 wins and 19 losses and is ranked 11th in the Western Conference, while their player, Green, is not on the court. Green has been away for some time, and his absence has made things difficult for the team. He contemplated retiring to avoid further problems but later changed his mind upon receiving support from Adam Silver and LeBron James.

The words of LeBron James

“Bron reached out and said, ‘Hey, I just want you to know that we’re with you,” Green said on his own podcast. We love you, champion. We are with you. Do what you have to do, but I want you to know that we support you in everything.”

James and Green have faced each other in four NBA Finals during their careers, and they have mutual respect. The Lakers superstar just wanted to show her support in a challenging time for Green and put sports rivalry aside.

Draymond Green joined training on January 8, and Warriors coach Steve Kerr said his return will depend on how quickly he regains fitness. So far this season with the Warriors, Green has averaged 9.7 points, 5.5 rebounds, and 5.8 assists, being a key player in Golden State’s scheme.
