The second-round series has been a close fight, with four teams bringing the competition all the way to Game 7. NBA fans will miss their dose of playoff excitement tonight as players take a break to prepare for the definitive games of the semifinals.

The Boston Celtics survived a spectacular performance by Giannis Antetokounmpo to even the series 3-3, while the Dallas Mavericks fended off the top-seeded Phoenix Suns to take the series all the way to the seventh game.

With no playoff games scheduled to spice up our Saturday night, here’s a look at what’s up ahead on Sunday, May 15.

NBA Playoff games, Sunday, May 15

Milwaukee Bucks @ Boston Celtics (3-3) 3:30 p.m. ET

Antetokounmpo dazzled for Milwaukee with 44 points, 20 rebounds, and six assists, becoming the first player since Shaquille O’Neal to hit the playoff point of 40 points and 20 rebounds. But this sensational performance was not enough, with Jayson Tatum going blow-for-blow, racking up 46 points to lift the Celtics to a 108-95 victory.

The difference boiled down to the stars’ supporting cast- Jaylen Brown and Marcus Smart contributed a combined 43 total for Boston, while Jrue Holiday, the hero of his team’s Game 5 win, brought in only 17 points for the Bucks. Pat Connaughton recorded 14 points, but no other Milwaukee player ended up with more than six.

Fans will be expecting another epic battle in do-or-die Game 7, with both explosive offense and displays of rock-solid defense.

Dallas Mavericks @ Phoenix Suns (3-3) 8:00 p.m. ET

The Mavericks routed the top-seed Suns in a convincing 113-86 win to force Game 7. Luka Doncic led the way, with his team taking control from the beginning of the game. The 23-year-old wrapped up with 33 points, 11 rebounds, and eight assists. It was a concerted team effort- Reggie Bullock had 19 points, Jalen Brunson gave 18, while Spencer Dinwiddie tallied a series-high 15.

They will need to turn in these same numbers and bring in the same energy to defeat the top seed in their home arena.
