After the Boston Celtics beat the Miami Heat 118-107 in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals on Tuesday, the Western Conference Finals get underway on Wednesday night as the Dallas Mavericks visit the Golden State Warriors.

Dallas in first Conference Finals in over a decade

The Mavericks are back in the Conference Finals for the first time since winning their sole NBA title in 2011. Led by Slovenian star Luka Doncic, Dallas stunned the heavily-fancied Phoenix Suns in the Conference Semi-Finals, storming back from a 2-0 deficit to win the series in seven.

Warriors seek NBA Finals berth on Playoffs return

Golden State, who are in the Playoffs for the first time since clinching a fifth straight conference title in 2019, beat the Memphis Grizzlies 4-2 in the Semi-Finals. The Warriors are chasing their seventh NBA championship, and their first since 2018.
