The Boston Celtics are 3-0 up in the Eastern Conference Finals against the Indiana Pacers, helped by the fine form of Jrue Holiday. The point guard recovered from an illness in time to feature in his team’s win in Indianapolis on Saturday but could yet drop out as the series continues at Gainbridge Fieldhouse on Monday.

Despite playing for 38 minutes in Boston’s 114-11 Game 3 victory, Holiday is again listed as questionable for the next meeting against the Pacers, in which the Celtics can secure their passage to the NBA Playoffs Finals against either the Dallas Mavericks or the Minnesota Timberwolves.

A late call was made on the 33-year-old’s availability on Saturday and that again looks set to be the case for Game 4. Holiday was revealed to be suffering from a non-covid illness, so whether he takes to the court again will be determined by how his condition has evolved in the hours before tip-off.

Celtics injury report for Game 4 against the Pacers

The Celtics will again be without Kristaps Porzingis because of a right soleus strain, although there is hope the power forward will be available to play in the NBA Finals if Boston get there. Center Luke Kornet missed the Game 3 win over the Pacers and has been ruled out once more due to a wrist sprain.
