Bill Belichick back in action and set for NCAA
The former New England Patriots coach is looking at college football as his next port of call.
In January of this year, after two decades, Bill Belichick and the New England Patriots severed ties in news that sent a tremor through the world of American football.
Since then, the veteran coach has embarked on a career in media while still declaring himself an active head coach and has made a handful of appearances on both ESPN‘s The Pat McAfee Show as well as appearing on the Manningcast.
However, the 72-year-old still misses his first love of coaching and is looking for a way back into the game.
Bill Belichick destined for Tar Heels?
A series of different reports suggest that the ‘Monk’ has already started the interview season and apparently there are more than a few teams showing interest in adding his experience to their setup.
Grant Hughes of ‘inside Carolina’ claims that Bill appears to be way ahead with the University of North Carolina to take over as Head Coach during the 2025 NCAA College Football season.
At 72 years old and having spent time with Cleveland, the Jets and of course, New England, the iconic NFL coach would then seek a new challenge towards the end of his professional career, after having rejected offers from the 49ers (defensive coach) and being in the final talks for the HC position in Atlanta.
