College baseball’s final regular season weekend provided plenty of movement among regional hosts, bringing significant changes to the field of 64 projections for the NCAA tournament.

In a tightly packed Big 12, the TCU Horned Frogs have staked a solid claim to hosting, despite their number 34 ranking in RPI.

The Golden Eagles of Southern Miss hit a rough patch of late but have managed to come good, winning five straight and sweeping Middle Tennessee. They should have a shot at a top eight national seed with a good tournament in Hattiesburg.

And Texas State have been outstanding all season, with dominant performances in the Sun Belt. They have a RPI of 26 which could still see Georgia Southern pip them at the post for the hosting spot, but with a good run in the SBC tournament this week, they could have the top spot locked up.

For the first time ever, Vanderbilt was swept by LSU, knocking them out of the hosting picture. The Tigers could end up hosting if they have a good showing in the SEC tournament, but it depends on how well Arkansas comes out of the back end of things.

Everything is still very fluid heading into the final week of play before Selection Monday.

Here is the way that it is looking at the moment.
