4 Broncos cornerbacks injured: will Surtain, McMillian, Moss and Mathis play against the Saints on TNF?

As the Denver Broncos get ready to face the New Orleans Saints tonight for Thursday Night Football, they’ve been dealing with a few injuries, particularly at one position - cornerback. On their final injury report, there are four cornerbacks listed. However, only one has been ruled out.

Broncos injury report ahead of TNF vs Saints

Cornerback Pat Surtain has been ruled out of the Broncos’ Week 7 game against the Saints on Thursday night after suffering a concussion and sitting out of practice all week. Cornerback Damarri Mathis is now listed as questionable, but was a full participant in practice this week and is eligible to be activated from Injured Reserve. Good news is that cornerbacks Ja’Quan McMillian (ankle) and Riley Moss (hip) were full participants in practice and are expected to line up across from each other against the Saints, while Levi Wallace plays in the slot.

Along with Surtain, offensive tackle Alex Palczewski has been officially ruled out of Thursday’s game against the Saints after missing Wednesday’s walkthrough and being a limited participant the previous two days. Right tackle Mike McGlinchey, who was dealing with an MCL injury, was a full participant on Wednesday and is eligible to return from IR this week, so he could take back his spot from Palczewski. Outside linebacker Baron Browning (foot) is also eligible to be activated from IR this week. McGlinchey and Browning are both listed as questionable.

Inside linebacker Justin Strnad (ribs) was a full participant this week and will be available to play tonight’s game.
