Update:

The Cowboys lost their star cornerback just two weeks into the season last year when Trevon Diggs tore his ACL during a practice, ending his season early. Now that he’s recovering, Dallas is looking forward to having him back on the defense. Before the injury, he logged 18 interceptions in his NFL career, 11 of which came in his All-Pro 2021 season.

Will Trevon Diggs practice at training camp on Thursday?

The Cowboys will hold their first open practice of training camp in Oxnard, California on Thursday, July 25. During the offseason, Diggs has been posting videos to social media showing him working out and performing different drills, both on the turf and in the sand.

While Diggs looks ready to go, the Cowboys are reportedly considering playing it safe and leaving Diggs on the PUP list for the start of training camp on Thursday. This isn’t too concerning, however, as the team doesn’t see this as a long-term delay. Diggs will be back to playing with the team before the start of the season, and he’ll be looking to make up for lost time.
