The Tennessee Titans host the Dallas Cowboys for Thursday Night Football, and the home team is predicted to extend their five-game losing streak.

The Dallas Cowboys are traveling to Nashville to face the embattled Tennessee Titans for Thursday Night Football at Nissan Stadium.

The Titans are on a five-game losing streak and have fading hopes of securing a playoffs berth, especially after last week’s loss to the Houston Texans, who hold the worst record in the NFL. That defeat cost them the leadership of the AFC South Division.

One last chance

Despite their downward skid, they still have a final chance to advance to the postseason, if they are able to defeat the Jacksonville Jaguars in their season finale next week. Tennessee is tied with Jacksonville at 7-8, and whoever wins the Week 18 matchup will win the AFC South.

Their game against the Cowboys has no bearing on how they stand in terms of the playoffs, which is why they have opted to give their injured players a rest for Thursday night. At least eight of their players will be sitting out the game.

According to Caesars Sportsbook, the Cowboys are an overwhelming 11-point favorite to win. They sit in second place in the NFC East, behind the league-leading Philadelphia Eagles, and have already secured a spot in the NFL playoffs bracket. They are still trying to keep alive their hopes of clinching the division title.

The Cowboys-Titans duel will kick off on Thursday, Dec. 29, at 8:15 p.m. ET / 5:15 p.m. PT at Nissan Stadium.
