Dallas Cowboys working out with yet another UFL player
After signing two UFL players to the squad, the Cowboys are working out with another defender from the league, Birmingham Stallions champ Jonathan Garvin.

The Dallas Cowboys made very few offseason moves, but in the last week, they’ve signed two players from the United Football League to the defense - All-UFL linebacker Willie Harvey Jr. and Defenders cornerback Gareon Conley. Now, they’re dipping into that well again as they are set to work out with the Birmingham Stallions defensive end, Jonathan Garvin.

Who is Jonathan Garvin?
Garvin, like Harvey and Conley, has experience in the NFL as well. After playing for the University of Miami in college, Garvin was selected in the seventh round of the 2020 NFL Draft to the Green Bay Packers. He played there for three seasons, being placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list in 2021. He was released in 2023 and ended his three-year tenure there with just 32 tackles, 2 passes defended, and 1.5 sacks.
He then signed with the UFC’s Birmingham Stallions in March 2024, who went 9-1 and won the championship. With the team, Garvin recorded 20 tackles and 3.5 sacks on the season and was ranked the No. 2 edge rusher in the UFL.
