Lock avoided pressure and a sack and took off 29 yards into the end zone. He hit the pylon with his foot so the officials are reviewing whether or not he was actually in or just short.

GAME TIME!
Giants won the toss and elected to defer.
Cowboys start us off on offense.
Here we go!
Almost go time
We're just moments away from kickoff at AT&T Stadium, where it's a chilly 50 degrees. But after their stadium roof mishap a few weeks ago, I think it's staying closed this time around.
National Anthem by Freddie Jones
Freddie Jones, the official trumpeter of the Dallas Cowboys and jazz player, played the National Anthem beautifully ahead of kickoff!
Nabers a thorn in Cowboys' side
Despite the Giants' disastrous season this year, they have one shining spot on the offense and that's rookie wide receiver Malik Nabers.
Nabers is having one of the best rookie seasons by a WR in NFL history. In the Giants' game against the Cowboys in Week 4, he had 12 catches for 115 yards before exiting early with a concussion. Through nine games, he has 67 receptions for 671 yards and three touchdowns.
Win or lose this Thursday, at least fans who attend the Dallas Cowboys game at AT&T Stadium will be rewarded with a delicious Thanksgiving meal.
Take a look at the special menu the chefs at AT&T Stadium have cooked up for fans in attendance today.
Cowboys’ home woes
One thing working in the Giants’ favor is the fact that the Cowboys have been unable to win at AT&T Stadium this season. The last time the Cowboys were 0-5 at home was in 1989, a season which they ended 0-8 at home and 1-15 overall.
On the other hand, the only two games the Giants won this season were both on the road. They’re also averaging a lot more points on the road - 20.6 as opposed to 10 at home.

Cowboys and Giants INACTIVES
Giants Injuries
The biggest name missing from the Giants is obviously QB Tommy DeVito. He injured his arm in their 30-6 loss to the Bucs last week and has officially been ruled inactive for today's game. At this point in the season, the Giants will be fine to see what Drew Lock can do in his place against a division opponent on national television.
Giants inactives
QB Tommy DeVito (emergency 3rd QB)
TE Greg Dulcich
CB Deonte Banks
S Anthony Johnson
CB Tre Hawkins III
G Jake Kubas
T Jermaine Eluemunor
Cowboys Injuries
The Cowboys continue to be without several key starters, including offensive players TE Jake Ferguson and G Zack Martin. CB Trevon Diggs is also missing his second game in a row after dealing with some knee and groin issues.
Cowboys Inactives
RB Deuce Vaughn
G Zack Martin
TE Jake Ferguson
DE Marshawn Kneeland
WR Ryan Flournoy
CB Trevon Diggs
CB Andrew Booth
The halftime performer for the Cowboys vs Giants Thanksgiving game is country music artist Lainey Wilson. Wilson recently took home her third trophy for Female Vocalist of the Year at the 2024 CMA Awards.
Giants get a chance to stop the run against Dallas
The Giants have struggled to stop the run this season. They gave up 156 yards to the Bucs last week, making their fifth straight game giving up 140 yards or more.
This game against the Cowboys could be their chance to change that as the Cowboys' rushing attack is basically nonexistent this season. They have yet to gain more than 137 yards in a game this season.
Last time the Cowboys and Giants met
The Cowboys and Giants are playing each other for the second time this season. They met in Week 4, with the Cowboys coming away with a 20-15 win. That was back when Daniel Jones and Dak Prescott were still on the field.
With Tommy DeVito dealing with an arm injury, Drew Lock is in line to start for the New York Giants against the Dallas Cowboys. Here's what you need to know about the quarterback.
Cowboys lead overall series
The Cowboys lead the overall series against the Giants, 76–47–2. They have won 14 of their last 15 games with the one loss coming in 2020 as seen in the tweet below.
It's rare for the Cowboys and Giants to meet on Thanksgiving. Although the Giants used to be a staple on Thanksgiving Day, playing each year from 1929 through 1938, it's now the Cowboys who dominate the tradition, having played annually since 1966.
On Thanksgiving, the Cowboys and Giants have played each other just twice, in 1992 and 2022 and the Cowboys won both.
Giants and Cowboys - where they stand
This Thanksgiving game has shaped up to be much less intriguing than originally expected 13 weeks ago. Both teams have losing records and both are without their starting quarterbacks.
New York Giants
The Giants are at 2-9 and on a six-game losing streak, their only wins this season coming against the Cleveland Browns and Seattle Seahawks. The season is crumbling down around them and that was made no better by their release of quarterback Daniel Jones last week. They started QB Tommy DeVito last week against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and lost 30-7. Today, they will play even without DeVito as he suffered an arm injury last week and has been ruled out for the game against the Cowboys. Drew Lock will be under center instead. The Giants are dead last in the NFC East and NFC seeding.
Dallas Cowboys
The Cowboys aren't doing much better than the Giants, having a disastrous season of their own. They are at 4-7 coming into the game today after having shockingly defeated the Washington Commanders last week, snapping a five-game losing streak. Dallas has been dealing with injuries throughout the team and added starting quarterback Dak Prescott to that list in Week 9. He was ruled out for the season and since then, they've been relying on Cooper Rush at quarterback. The Cowboys are third in the NFC East and No. 14 in the NFC seeding.
Welcome!
