The San Francisco 49ers are in unstoppable form and against the Dallas Cowboys, who they beat 10-42, managing to rack up their 15th consecutive regular-season victory: a joint record for the franchise. The Niners can beat this milestone achievement with a win next week against the Cleveland Browns.

In what was an utterly embarrassing night for a mistake-filled Cowboys side, the 49ers stole the show and crushed their opposition, dominating in all aspects of the play.

The Niners, simply and brutally put, looked like a complete team compared to the disjointed opposition: they managed to total over 400 yards and played the ball at more than 6 yards per play as Dak Prescott for the Cowboys failed to worm his way to anything noteworthy all night.

When was the last time San Francisco 49ers won 15 games in a row?

Taking a look at their impressive form, one has to flick through the history books all the way back to the George Seifert-coached team during Week 12 of the 1989 season to Week 10 of 1990 to find the last time the side put on such a consistent display on the field. That season, the Niners won the Super Bowl at the end of the 1989 season before just missing out on a three-peat in 1990, losing to the Giants in the NFC Championship Game.

It is also their ninth straight regular-season win at Levi’s Stadium, a record which goes back to Week 10 of the 2022 season; along with the Eagles, the 49ers are the only remaining undefeated team in the NFL. The 49ers’ 45-14 win over the Cowboys in 1981 had been the largest margin of victory between the two sides, meaning that the 32-point difference on Sunday is the new all-time record as well.

They will travel to Cleveland to take on the Browns next week while the Cowboys will look to regain their form against Los Angeles Chargers.
