Greg Gutfeld Super Bowl ad

There is no doubt that Greg Gutfeld grabs attention. On Fox News Channel’s political talk show ‘The Five,’ he offers his conservative political commentary and throws in his own brand of humour. Is he to everyone’s taste? No. Is he a ratings winner? Absolutely

‘King’ Greg Gutfeld hits Super Bowl ads

That popularity led Fox to hand him his own late night comedy show on the cable channel, named simply ‘Gutfeld!’ And this Sunday, the man with the exclamation mark is going to be joining some of the biggest brand names in the country as they interrupt our Super Bowl LVII viewing.

That’s right, those mega-expensive ads are going to include a promotion of the show and it is said to last just 15 seconds. Given that these slots can cost up to $7 million dollars for half a minute, it’s understandable that Fox went for the smaller timeframe. The network also uses that as part of the narrative, cutting away just as Greg’s about to get into it with someone in the background explaining, “Sorry, these ads are pricey.”

As Alex Weprin for The Hollywood Reporter explains, ‘the ad sees Gutfeld in royal regalia, sitting on a throne and holding a staff, flanked by regular guests Tyrus and Kat Timpf, as well as his tiny dog, Gus. The tagline of the ad declares him “The new king of late night.”

If you want to see it ahead of time, you’re in luck...
