Josh Allen responds to viral photo of wife Hailee Steinfeld rooting for Broncos
Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen has spoken out about the viral photo of his wife, Hailee Steinfeld, rooting for his Divisional Round opponent.
The Buffalo Bills are set to face the No. 1 seed Denver Broncos this weekend in the Divisional Round of the NFL Playoffs. Ahead of the game, a photo started making the rounds on the internet of actress Hailee Steinfeld.
In the photo, the wife of Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen can be seen wearing Broncos gear, and in the caption she wrote, “HELL YEAH BRONCOS!!!!”
Allen has now responded.
Josh Allen keeping the peace at home
Allen and Steinfeld started dating in 2023 and tied the knot two years later in summer 2025. They are expecting their first child together this year. So it was odd to see a photo floating around of her rooting for her husband’s playoff opponent this weekend.
But once you know the photo is from 2016, when Steinfeld was just 19 years old, Allen was still two years away from being drafted by the Bills, and the two were several years away from meeting, it lightens the blow a bit. Still, it must have been unpleasant for Allen to see his wife in Broncos gear.
CBS sideline reporter Tracy Wolfson, who is working the Bills-Broncos game this weekend, decided to ask Allen outright. He apparently hadn’t yet seen it (yeah, sure...), but laughed it off, saying “she was probably paid to be there. And that he definitely wasn’t going to bring it up at home.” Probably for the best.
