Taylor Swift attended Travis Kelce’s game at Arrowhead Stadium, and Kelce expressed his appreciation on the “New Heights with Jason and Travis Kelce” podcast:

“Shout out to Taylor for pulling up. That was pretty ballsy,” Kelce said. “I just thought it was awesome how everybody in the suite had nothing but great things to say about her. The friends and family. She looked amazing. Everybody was talking about her in a great light. On top of that, the day went perfect for Chiefs fans, of course. We script it all, ladies and gentlemen.”

The Swift effect

Swift’s presence at the Chiefs’ 41-10 victory over the Chicago Bears resulted in a remarkable 400% surge in Kelce jersey sales. It also attracted a new segment of fans to the Chiefs, particularly among female viewers aged 12-17, which saw an 8% increase in ratings compared to the previous year. The broadcast also led to female viewership across all major demographics.

Although Kelce had a productive game with seven catches for 69 yards and a touchdown, Swift’s appearance garnered significant screen time during the broadcast.

“Sounds like the Swifties are also part of Chiefs Kingdom,” Kelce said.

So, are Kelce and Swift dating?

Kelce humorously mentioned that Swift’s attendance has made his personal life “less private”, but he didn’t confirm or deny any romantic relationship. He acknowledged the presence of paparazzi around his house due to ongoing rumors about their connection.

I know that I brought all this attention to me; I’m the one that did the whole friendship bracelet thing and told everybody how butthurt I was that I didn’t get to meet Taylor,” Kelce said on Wednesday’s podcast. “You miss 100% [shots] you don’t take, baby.

The star tight end added that he wants to respect their privacy and focus on the conversation of football:

“What’s real is that it is my personal life. I want to respect both of our lives. She’s not in the media as much as I am doing this show every single week. … Like you said on that Thursday night game, I’m enjoying life and I sure as hell enjoyed this weekend. So everything moving forward, I think talking about sports and saying ‘all right now’ will have to be kind of where I keep it.”

The Chiefs’ next game is against the New York Jets on “Sunday Night Football.”
