The headline-grabbing option for this year’s Super Bowl menu in Santa Clara will be ‘The XL Hammer Burger,’ which includes a monstrous bone protruding through the bun.

It is comprised of a cheeseburger with a bone-in beef shank, completed with a blue cheese fondue dripping onto the brioche bun. Of course, this being the Super Bowl, the price is similarly outlandish, at $180.

That may the the most expensive but there are plenty of more reasonably priced food and drink options. Fans can get a Super-Hot Chinatown Dog for $20, comprising a char-grilled foot-long hot dog with Chinese hot mustard, char sui pork and a variety of other relishes. A regular hot link with peppers and onions will cost $15, while an American canned lager will be $17.50.

For fans used to paying sky-high prices at sports venues across the country, a $15 hot dog is not the most outrageous price for Super Bowl dining. Once you’ve spent thousands of dollars on a ticket, treating yourself to a hot dog might seem like a relatively minor outlay.
