Miami Dolphins attending their own funeral? Fans rip new all-black uniforms
Miami Dolphins fans were not amused with the reveal of their new uniforms for their Week 4 Monday Night Football game against the Jets.
The Miami Dolphins are off to a rough start, having lost all three of their games so far - to the Indianapolis Colts, New England Patriots, and Buffalo Bills. They are heading into Week 4 with a crucial divisional matchup against the New York Jets, also 0-3, on Monday night.
Fans unimpressed with Dolphins uniforms - “spend money on an O-line”
The Dolphins are set to debut new black “Rivalries” uniforms in their Week 4 matchup against the Jets.
But instead of praise, fans are mocking the look on social media, cracking jokes about the team’s 0-3 start, quarterback Tua Tagovailoa’s struggles, and the defense allowing an NFL-worst 32.3 points per game.
“At least they are wearing black for the funeral RIP,” said one fan.
“Maybe instead of buying new uniforms, spend the money on an offensive line,” said another.
With history stacked against them - only one team has ever made the playoffs after starting 0-4 - Monday’s game could determine whether Miami salvages its season or heads toward a full rebuild.
