It’s been one of the biggest trade sagas of the summer, but now the new Packers man can move on, with help.

Update:

Russell Wilson couldn’t resist. Shortly after news broke that Micah Parsons was leaving the Dallas Cowboys for the Green Bay Packers, the veteran quarterback jumped onto X with an offer that read more like a moving-company ad than a welcome note. “Anything you need in Wisco… Packing ur bags.. moving company… just let me know,” he joked, reminding everyone he once played at Wisconsin.

Parsons’ reply didn’t take long to respond. “🤝🤝🤝 hit my line,” the All-Pro pass rusher wrote back, seemingly making it clear he was happy to accept the offer. The playful back-and-forth quickly went viral, drawing thousands of likes and reposts within hours.

Was there anything behind the Wilson offer?

The Cowboys sent Parsons to Green Bay in exchange for defensive tackle Kenny Clark and two future first-round picks (2026 and 2027). Green Bay immediately locked him down with a four-year, $188 million extension, including $136 million guaranteed, the largest deal ever for a non-quarterback.

For Wilson and New York Giants fans, though, the move brings some relief. Parsons terrorized NFC East quarterbacks for four seasons, piling up 52.5 sacks and 256 tackles. Now, instead of facing him twice a year, they’ll only see him if the schedule demands it.
