The kicker had a fine night as the Seattle Seahawks beat the New England Patriots at Levi’s Stadium in Super Bowl LX.

Seattle Seahawks kicker Jason Myers made Super Bowl history on Sunday night, converting five field goals to set a new record on the sport’s biggest stage. The previous high-water mark of four had stood for decades.

Before Myers’ performance, no kicker had ever made more than four field goals in a Super Bowl. That record was shared by Don Chandler (Super Bowl II), Ray Wersching (Super Bowl XVI) and Harrison Butker, whose four kicks powered Kansas City’s win in Super Bowl LVIII.
Myers scores all the points in the first half
Seattle took a 9–0 lead into halftime behind Myers’ right foot alone. He opened the scoring with a 33-yard field goal in the first quarter, then added 39- and 41-yard kicks in the second.
Myers added two more after Bad Bunny’s halftime show, drilling field goals from 41 yards and 26 yards as quarterback Sam Darnold and the Seahawks offense repeatedly moved into scoring range, allowing Myers to extend both the lead and his place in Super Bowl history.
